Flying:

If you intend to fly, both Toulouse and Pau have frequent flights from the UK. Ryanair fly into Pau from Stanstead, whilst Toulouse is served by:
BA (Gatwick), bmibaby (Manchester), Flybe (Birmingham) and Easyjet (Bristol and Gatwick).

Car hire is available at both airports. It pays to book via an internet broker
such as Holiday Autos or Cheap-Car-Rental.com, as you will invariably get
the big company service at a considerable saving on their published rates.

Both airports have easy access onto the A64, the main road towards our
house. Travelling time from Toulouse is just under an hour, from Pau just
